Richard Foster, the chief actuary for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, reports that under his analysis national health spending will rise under the bills by $222 billion over the next 10 years. In other words, ObamaCare really does “bend the cost curve”—up.

A quote from the New York Times on the Democrats reaching an agreement regarding the public option. This is part of their solution.
Under the agreement, people ages 55 to 64 could “buy in” to Medicare.
Are these guys for real? Medicare is going bankrupt. And their solution is to offer people the “incredible opportunity” to buy into the system. Next thing you know they will be offering all of us a million acres of land underneath which sits a limitless supply of sweet crude oil that …

We have come across two (actually three, but one is a 2 parter) great posts about how government is basically stealing from our children. In fact, it is a phrase which can be traced all the way back to Jimmy Carter, and a bogeyman no prior administration has managed to control. This week, the Government Accountability Office showed us what form it might take. The report, published in USA Today, details millions of dollars in prescription drug abuse, financed with taxpayer funds, which heretofore has gone undetected in the Medicaid program.
An audit of prescription records in only five states, looking at …
